We're excited to introduce the new Authentication feature, an extension of the Dispatcher Stratus cloud platform that makes accessing multifunction printers (MFPs) easier, faster, and more secure. With support for Microsoft Entra ID and card-based login, users can sign in once or tap their card to unlock the full power of the MFP, including printing, emailing, faxing, and launching cloud apps.

As part of our growing cloud-based ecosystem, this feature integrates seamlessly with Dispatcher Stratus and ScanTrip Cloud. No additional software is required, and new enhancements are delivered automatically to provide ongoing value without added cost.

Admins can configure MFP authentication directly from the Dispatcher Stratus portal. Provisioning is simple and secure, with permissions that can be tailored for managing card IDs, authentication providers, and access controls. Users can authenticate using Microsoft Entra ID, Stratus credentials, or by tapping a card with a supported wedge reader. Once signed in, users can register their card at any MFP just one time. After that, their card works across all connected MFPs, allowing fast, seamless access without repeated setup. Guest access is also available where needed.
