Expand Your Capabilities with aiDocuDroid - A New OCR/ICR Engine for Dispatcher Phoenix

aiDocuDroid is an AI-based ICR/OCR, image processing and document layout analysis technology that works for a variety of form types with contents filled in either printed or handwritten text. Using the aiDocuDroid engine, workflows can be configured to refine optical character recognition (OCR) and intelligent character recognition (ICR) results and extract metadata through the use of zones. Through zones, you can define how you want the aiDocuDroid engine to recognize text on the page. For example, to capture invoice numbers from incoming documents, you can create a zone in the area of the document where invoice numbers appear. In addition, zones can extract metadata automatically and associate the metadata with the original document.

aiDocuDroid OCR

Integrating aiDocuDroid OCR into your customers' current processes is a breeze, as it can process many common file types, output metadata in several formats, and supports both English and Japanese documents!

aiDocuDroid Handwritten (ICR)

aiDocuDroid Handwritten is a brand new offering that allows Dispatcher Phoenix to accurately process handwritten documents. Not only does it use artificial intelligence to automate the ICR process, it has a built-in dictionary that it cross-references to correct spelling mistakes!

Getting Started with aiDocuDroid

Integrating aiDocuDroid into your customers’ current processes is a breeze, as it can process many common file types, output metadata in several formats, and supports both English and Japanese documents! When creating a workflow that uses the Advanced OCR node or the Forms Processing node, select aiDocuDroid or aiDocuDroid Handwritten from the dropdown menu.

Introducing Shield Guard - Intelligent Device Monitoring and Security Remediation

Security is a priority for every organization, and the security of information is just as important as physical security. Shield Guard provides your company with the peace of mind that your documents and your MFPs are protected.

On supported devices, Shield Guard builds upon the bizhub SECURE and bizhub SECURE Platinum security services to fortify the devices with settings that protect both the MFP and your sensitive data. Shield Guard enhances this capability by enabling authorized users to continue to monitor and manage these settings - remotely, via the cloud.

With Shield Guard, you can learn of security breaches in near-real-time so you can take decisive action, and you can monitor and manage all of your devices remotely via Shield Guard's online portal. Shield Guard can monitor an unlimited number of devices, and you can create an unlimited number of security policies to monitor them. You specify which devices you want Shield Guard to monitor, which device security settings you want Shield Guard manage, and how often you want Shield Guard to assess the devices. Many Shield Guard settings support automatic remediation, in which Shield Guard automatically restores non-compliant device settings into compliance with the assigned security policy.

Shield Guard includes a Dashboard page that provides a quick overview of the current security status of your device fleet, a Logs page containing detailed information on all issues logged by Shield Guard, and a Reports page where you can view and export device statistics.

  • Rearrange controls/tools/apps on the MFP panel via drag-and-drop functionality.

Automatic App Updates Feature

We recommend you always use the latest app version available. With the new Automatic App Updates feature, MarketPlace keeps your app versions current. The feature is enabled for all devices by default, but you can disable it for specific devices or device groups. The feature is available via the Auto Updates button that appears below each device table on the MarketPlace Devices page.

Mass App Configuration Feature

With this new feature, you can install multiple apps on multiple devices and configure the apps' location on each device - all in a single process. The feature has been added to the MarketPlace Apps & Licenses page. Simply check the boxes next to the apps you want to install, select the devices on which to install the apps, and click the Install button!

Bulk Device Import

Have you just purchased a new set of MarketPlace applications? Perhaps you are setting up your devices on MarketPlace for the first time. With this new feature, you can import a large number of devices into MarketPlace, create device groups, and assign the devices to groups - all in a single process. On the MarketPlace Devices page, click on the Import Devices button to download the CSV import template. Enter the required device information into the template such as device name, serial number, and admin password, and you are ready to link your devices to your MarketPlace account!
