Rx Shield provides a secure prescription printing solution that complies with federal mandates for tamper-resistant prescriptions. The Rx Shield process adds a customizable Security Features Listing box to the bottom of the prescription, and adds a pantograph background to the prescription with text, such as "Invalid Copy" or "Unauthorized," appearing when the prescription is copied. These security settings are completely customizable with the ability to add the date/time, distribution control number, serial number, and job number to the text if needed. In addition, the security background/color can be modified as well as the text size, color, and angle.
