This release will allow the LDAP server to detect and block such forwarded authentication requests. As part of our continuous efforts to improve the quality and security of Dispatcher Phoenix, this monthly release will include additional LDAP authentication options, which are in compliance with the Microsoft security advisory. In addition to the Simple authentication over TLS, Digest, Kerberos, Negotiate, and Ntlm SASL protocols have been implemented in Dispatcher Phoenix as additional options for the LDAP user authentication. Please look at the Workflow Services Manager to take advantage of these new options to make Dispatcher Phoenix work seamlessly with upcoming Microsoft security updates. This update may impact existing customers. If using LDAP authentication, we recommend to always enable SSL on Active Directory or use one of the new LDAP authentication options offered in Dispatcher Phoenix. Please see the "2020 LDAP channel binding and LDAP signing requirements for Windows" article for more information. *** Issues Fixed *** - Fixed an issue where the Metadata Route node was sending processed files with a 'null' metadata key out on error. The node now sends these processed files to the 'No' transition, as expected. - Fixed an issue in the SMTP Out node where 2-byte characters in the Subject field were causing emails to fail and no error message was displayed. - Fixed an issue where the Output Folder node failed to send processed files to the output folder if the folder path name contained 2-byte characters. - Other minor bug fixes.
