If Dispatcher Phoenix Web is installed on the same system as the Dispatcher Phoenix client application, a Dispatcher Phoenix Web Server icon is available. You can double-click on the following icon on your Desktop to access Dispatcher Phoenix Web:

Installing DP Web on IIS System

To install Dispatcher Phoenix Web on an Internet Information Services (IIS) system, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure that the HttpPlatformHandler IIS native module for your system architecture is downloaded and installed. Click the following link for more information: IIS Downloads.

  2. Go to Windows Services and stop the KMBS Dispatcher Phoenix Web Server.

  3. Launch the Windows Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.

  4. At this point, you can either create a new website or provide a virtual host for the DP Web application.

Creating a New Website and Application

Do the following:

  1. In the Connections pane, right-click on the Sites node in the tree, and then choose the Add Web Site option from the context menu that appears.

  2. In the Add Website window, type a friendly name (i.e., “dpweb”) for your Web site in the Site name box.

  3. In the Physical path field, type the physical path of the website’s folder, or click the browse button () to navigate the file system to find the folder. The physical path is: C:\Program Files\Konica Minolta\Dispatcher Phoenix Web\wwwroot.

  4. Type a port number in the Port text box.

  5. Select the OK button when you are done.

  6. Right-click on the newly created “dpweb” website and choose the Add Application option from the context menu that appears.

    • Select the OK button when you are done.

Create a Virtual Directory

Do the following:

  1. Right-click on the site or folder where you want to create the virtual directory; then choose the Add Virtual Directory option from the context menu that appears.

  2. In the Alias field, type a name for the virtual directory. Choose a short name that is easy to type, because the user types this name to access the Web site.

  3. In the Physical Path field, type or browse to the physical directory that contains the virtual directory.

  4. Select the OK button when you are done.

Logging In

To access DP Web, you must first log in with your corporate user name and password. These are the same credentials used to log into the Dispatcher Phoenix client application.

Do the following:

  1. Enter your credentials in the User Name and Password fields.

  2. Select the Submit button.

Note: Dispatcher Phoenix does not allow for simultaneous log-ins using the same account. If a user logs into Dispatcher Phoenix Web using the same credentials as another logged-in user, that first user will be automatically logged out.

Navigating

When you first log into DP Web, you are presented with a row of buttons that allow you to access various features that allow you to manage your Dispatcher Phoenix workflows, servers, and users for the enterprise. See the following illustration:
